This site is about “MORALITY AND HUMAN FLOURISHING” and the hope that a greater focus on our human morality may help us avoid the existential threat of human extinction. It includes my 2022 presentation notes and slides on the topic. My interest in morality was inspired by the work of Jonathan Haidt and his 2012 book “The Righteous Mind”. I met him in July 2019 (pictured) at the Melbourne launch of his 2018 book on “The Coddling of the American Mind”. The site includes other material I have sourced and written over many years to provide the reader with more details of my journey into this area of interest. A sort of legacy.

As well as previous presentation notes etc., the site is being updated to include those for my 9 July 2023 presentation to the Melbourne Agnostic Group “The Mythology Mindset”. I’m hoping to get feedback in my quest for what seems an impossible dream. I will continue to tilt at windmills for as long as I can. I was born in July 1937. I don’t know how much longer I will exist.
